Leftovers is a great app! I could see how this might not be for everyone, but for me it made sorting downloads fun and easy. Much better than going through an intimidating list of files. Feels a little half-baked and laking automation features, I’m sure that’s probably going to be fixed in the near future. My downloads folder went from probably over 100 unless downloads to only the things I need.Bottom Line: Great app! I could see this becoming wildly popular. It just needs a little more work.

Leftovers works on any Mac running macOS 14 (Sonoma) or later. If your Mac supports macOS 14, you’re good to go.
What happens to my files if I uninstall Leftovers?
Nothing — Leftovers only sorts and moves files based on your choices. It never deletes anything without your permission. If you uninstall the app, all your files stay exactly where they are.
